On the occasion of School Raising Day, the Investiture Ceremony for Vice-Head Boy & Vice-Head Girl was held in which Manpreet Singh Saggu of class XI-B and M Sushma Sree of Class XI-A pledged to perform their duties diligently. A speech about the History of the School was delivered by class VIII students

From 21st to 23rd Aug, the Open Punjab State Athletic Championship was held at Ludhiana in which Jobanpreet Singh Class - IX A won Gold Medal in 4 x 100 mtr Relay Race and Bronze Medal in 200mtr Race.

In the Ferozepur District Rural Athletic Meet Under-14 Category held on 3rd to 4th Aug, our students won the following prizes....

In 11 Corps Inter APSs Hindi Debate Competition 2019-20, the students of our school brought glory by bagging overall First Position. In the Juniors category (Against the Motion) , Dev Shukla of class VIII-D stood First. In the Seniors category (For the Motion) , Shiwani Yadav of class IX-B stood First and Srishti of class XI-A bagged Second Position (Against the Motion). Dev Shukla also won The Best Speaker Award

To salute the great souls of martyrs who fought valiantly in the Kargil War, the 20th anniversary of Kargil Vijaya Diwas was celebrated on 26th July. Sub Maj Kaushal Kumar Sharma, SM, one of the Kargil war hero graced the occasion and inspired the students with his experiences and encouraging words. The programme included a heartrending speech by Khushpreet of class X A, a thought provoking poem by Anand of class V-B, Patriotic Group Song and Hindi Role-Play which filled the air with the patriotic fervor.

APS, Ferozepur observed the 'International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking' for which the following activities were organized.

Students, Teaching, Non-Teaching and Group D Staff wore badges with Anti Drug Abuse slogans. Special assembly for classes VI to XII was conducted during which a video on drug abuse was shown, speeches were delivered, poems were recited and a role play on 'Drugs - The Monsters' was performed. Lastly, the entire gathering of approximately - 825 individuals took the pledge to live a drug free life. An informative presentation on harmful effects of drugs was shown to the students of classes IX to XII. A poster making competition on the cause was also organised.

A Painting competition was conducted by Mayank Foundation on Sunday, 14th April 2019 at Gandhi Garden, Ferozepur Cantt in which students from all over Ferozepur participated. Students of our school have come up with flying colours as Adhiti Jha of class VI-E bagged First Prize, Manraj Singh of class X-A bagged Third Prize and Shreeya of class VI-E, Akshat Wadhawan of class VI-A and Krishna of class VII-E won Consolation Prizes.

Baisakhi is a harvest festival and it is also closely associated with Sikhism and carries great historical significance. To celebrate this festival with great enthusiasm, a special morning assembly was conducted during which the school choir presented a melodious song. A speech on the same was delivered by Anushka of Class V-A. The tiny tots of primary wing presented the Punjabi Folk Dance 'Bhangra' which let everyone tap their feet. The assembly concluded in an atmosphere of fun and frolic.

On the occasion of World Health Day; Poster Making, Speech Competition and Poem Recitation Competitions were conducted by the Station Health Organisation in the school premises. All the students of classes III-V participated in the Poster Making. Students from classes VI-VIII participated in the Speech Competition and Poem Recitation Competition. Prizes were given away to the best performers.

The school endeavours for academic excellence and preparing the students well in time has led to another initiative. Extra classes will be conducted for X and XII from 20th May to 30th May 2019.

The session began with a happy note. Ankit Sharma of class X brought accolades to school by bagging 1st position in the 'Marathon' covering a distance of about 5 kms organised by 'District Administration Ferozepur' on 31 Mar 2019 in which 3000 athletes participated. He received Rs 3000/- as the cash prize along with the Winners Medal.

The Session 2019-20 commences successfully on 01 Apr 2019. The Principal welcomed and addressed the children in the Assembly.

The Blessings -cum- Farewell Ceremony for the students of class 10th & 12th was held on 22nd Feb 2019. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mrs Jasleen Sandhu, Chairperson, GAFWO. The authorities, parents and teachers showered their blessings on the children wishing them good luck for the upcoming exams.

On 26th January, Republic Day was celebrated by conducting a special assembly which included speech, patriotic group song, choreography and dance.

A programme named ‘Rendezvous with APSites’ was organised to showcase the talents & abilities of students through their club activities.

On the occasion of Christmas, a small programme was organized which included enactment about the birth of Jesus Christ and thrilling dance performances given by the students.

The school choir won the hearts by presenting an ‘Inspirational Song’ in the Golden Arrow Asha School on the occasion of ‘DISABILITY DAY’.
